Victoria University (VU) is a world-class university located in Melbourne, one of the world’s most liveable cities. VU is in the top 2% of universities worldwide, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. In 2018, VU became the first and only Australian university to teach in Block Model – a subject-by-subject academic delivery that leads to better student grades and an enhanced student experience.
The University is home to the highly ranked Faculties of Humanities Social Sciences and Law, which are among the top faculties of their type in the world. The University also hosts New Zealand’s only School of Government undertaking teaching and research on public policy and public administration and management.
A dual-sector university, VU offers pathways from vocational education and training to higher education through Victoria University Polytechnic. VU’s diverse pathway options also include foundation studies, higher education diplomas and English language courses delivered through its world-class English language centre, VU English. More than 40,000 students are enrolled in VU courses, delivered across eight Melbourne campuses – including three in the city centre – and a ninth campus in central Sydney.
The average tuition fees for VU is A$8000 for Diploma and A$14.000-18.000 for undergraduate/postgraduate, depends on the course.
